Applies to all employees, contractors, and interns. 2. ACCEPTABLE USE 2.1 Company Devices: Primarily for business. Limited personal use if it doesn't interfere with work, consume excessive resources, violate policy, or create security risks. 2.2 Email: Professional language. No offensive content. Report phishing. Use company signature. 2.3 Internet: Personal browsing during breaks OK. No streaming, gaming, large downloads, or illegal content. 3. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES • Unauthorised system access or hacking • Malicious software • Damaging company systems • Personal business ventures or illegal activities • Password sharing • Bypassing security controls • P2P file sharing of copyrighted content • Company data on personal devices without authorisation 4. PASSWORD SECURITY • Strong passwords ([X] chars, mixed case, numbers, special characters) • Change regularly | Do not reuse | Do not share • Use MFA where required | Lock workstation when away 5. DATA PROTECTION Classify by sensitivity. No sensitive data over unsecured networks. Encrypt files. Report breaches immediately. 6. SOCIAL MEDIA 6.1 Personal Accounts: • No confidential company information • No disparaging content about company, employees, or clients • If identifying as employee, add disclaimer: views are my own • No negative public exchanges about the company 6.2 Professional Accounts: • Follow brand guidelines • Approval for official announcements • Respond professionally • Escalate sensitive issues 7. MONITORING Company may monitor usage of systems (internet, email, files). No expectation of privacy on company resources. 8.
